Absent Thompson Trustee Clarkoffered a resolution adopting the Specifications for the improvement of the Municipal Electric System. The resolu- tion was read by the Clerk and seconded by Petty Roll call Ayes: Barnes, Petty, Clark, Collins, Absent: Thompson. T.tt.teo t. Mr. D. C. Smith was before the Board representing the Chamber of Go:maerce, with petitions asking for the improvement of Azusa Avenue from Eleventh to Fourth Street and Center street between Orange Avenue and the Eastern Boundary of the City. Mr. it. T. Durrell was before the Board asking that the elects - tiers not be placed on the North side of Center Street from Pasadena Avenue to the City Limits. 11111. J. R. Eldred was before the Board speaking in the inter est of the electoliere, 232 The petitions were received and placed on file until March 1st 1915 Engineer F. C. Roberts was before the Board with his repoet on the bids received on the Improvement of the Water System. Trustee Thompson now Presetst. It was moved by Clary_ seconded by Barnes that the recornnenda- tions of Engineer Roberts be accepted for awardmng,.the contracts for furnishing the valves to N. 0. Nelson Mfg. Co, for furnishing the Cast Iron Pipe to the American Cast Iron Pipe Co. for furn- ishing the Riveted Steel pipe, to the American Steel Pipe & Tank Co. and for the labmr to liesmer F- Rice Co. and reject all bids on the Hydrants and the City Atty pre -pare ti.le necessary Resolution of Award. Roll call Ayes,: Barnes, Thompson, Clar' i Noes: Petty, Collins It was moved by Clark seconded by Barnes V. -int Lir. F.C.Robert'S demand for $566.34 on the Municipal Water System Improvement Fund be allowed.
