Chairman Solem called the meeting to order. Call to Order .Present at Roll Call: Directors: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Roll Call :loses, Solem Also Present: Acting City Attorney/General Counsel Lennard, Consultant Wolf, Executive Director Jangleis, City Department Heads, Secretary Solis. There being no additions or corrections, the Minutes Ap v1.1•Iin.of of the February 1, 1982 regular meeting stand approved 2/82 mtg. as written. The Secretary announced that informal bid proposals :•rere Bids -Demo of opened in his office on Thursday, February 11, 1982, at Bldgs, at 10:00 a.m, for the demolition or removal of the store 428/432 Ii. building at 432 N. San G.briel Avenue and the house at San Gabriel 428 N. San Gabriel Avenue. (Damazo Guzman I'otices regarding; bid proposals oras published in the Azusa lot: bidder) Herald on January 13th and 20th, 1982 and in the San Cabriel Valley Tribune on January 17, 1982. Hardison PNOMiT ,^x2,500.00 2,750.00 2,880.00 3,200.00 33400.00 3,500.00 4,000.00 4,400.00 8,750.00 Moved by Director Moses, seconded by Director Cruz and unanimously carried by roll call that contract be awarded for subject demolition to Demazo Guzman, in the amount of $2,500.00, and that the Secretary return the unsuccessful bidders' guarantees and authorize the Chairman and Secre- tary to execute the contract. Y:oved by Director Cruz, seconded by Director Idoses and Housing Market unanimously carried by roll call that authorization be Demand & given to engage Empire Economics to prepare a Housing Feasibility Demand and Feasibility Study frith regard to proposed Consultant mortgage revenue bond issue relative to the Azusa CBD redevelopment project area; further, that staff be instructed to secure deposits from each developer participant covering costs of the Study. Estimated cost of said study is approx- imately $8,000.00. Moved by Director Moses, seconded by Director Cruz and Adjourn unanimously carried to adjourn.
