April 3rd, 1916.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at 7:30 PJJ.
Present at roll call Barnes, Clark, Collins.
Absent: Smith and Petty.
The minutes of Ilarch'20th, 1916 were read and approved.
Trustee Petty now present.
A communication was read from H. W. O'Idelveny enclosing a
statenent for 075.00 for legal opinion of Water and Light
I
Donds.

It was moved by Clark seconded by Petty that the bids on
the City's Brush Land be opened. Motion carried.
The following bids were opened. '

James A. Keeney=- For the westerly 80 acres(more or less) I
will conform with tae conditions now on file with the City Clerk
and in ac;dition thereto will -pay the City an annual rental of U50.00
per annum.
James A. Keeney --I will conform to the conditions now on file
with the City Clerk and in addition thereto will pay the City
an annual rental of y?25.00 for the southerly 20 acres of the
westerly 80 acres of said lands.
It was moved by Petty seconded by Barnes that the City enter
into a contract with Mr. Keeney according to the bid on the
westerly 80 acres and the contract presented to the Board before
signing.
