Present at roll call Barnes, Robinson, Templin, Case, Roach It was moved by Case seconded by Templin that the Sanitary awl i Police Cominittee be instructed to hire Walter Lovelace as an extra nightwatchr n to patrol the nerican part of the City. The Board of 'Trustees :tet in regular adjourned session at 7:ZDO P.,i, to consider the protests on Dalton Ave. It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that the Public Works Co:ammittee most at 1 P?3? June 27th, 1916 with the Street Superin- tendent and Contractor Schelling and go over the street and pont out the work that remains undone. Motion carried, It was moved by Barnes seconded by Case that the hearing} of the Protests on Dalton Avenue be continued until Thursday June 29th, 1916 at 7:30 P.H. Motion carried. :•Sr, F. A. Carjenter was before the Board representing the � Azusa Irrigating Co. and asking permission to lay a larLer pipe from their well on Tenth & Dalton to the irrigating ditch. The matter was referred to the City Attorney for investigation. It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that the City Attor- ney prepare any papers that might be necessary to Five the Azusa Irri;;ating Cm. the ri;ht to enlarge their pipe line in the City of Azusa. Motion car_ied. It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that renewals of Poll -room .licenses be grahted to T. S. Oki, R. A. Reed and F. D. V Y Streshly. Motion carried. 330 It was moved by Case seconded by Darnes th�it F. L. Dingman be allowed 40 shares of water stock and R. A. Stephens 15 shares and A. 7. Jeffrey 13 shares out of the City's surplus water, for irri- gating pupones. Iaotion carried. It was moved by Cane seconded by Temp in that the proposition of furnishing Thurman and Stadler with irrigating water .and also Granville Small be investigated by the Public Works Committee.
