The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at 7:30 P.D.
Present at roll call Barnes, Robinson, Templin, Case, Roach.
The minutes of September l8th, 1.916 vure read and ap-
proved.
Communications were read f3'om C. R. Bravmer, J. S. Menefee
and R. R. Charlton.
It was moved by Barnes seconded by 'Templin that the Public
Works Committee notify W- H. Lovelace that he would not be needed
as fire warden in the San Gabriel Canyon, dny`more: Notion
carried.
T. S. Oki, F. D. Streshly and It. A. Reed made application
:For renewal of their pool room license for the quarter end-
ing Jan. Tst, 1917.
It was moved by Barnes seconded by Robinson that these
licenses be renewed. Notion carried.
City Attorney Steele made a report on the finances of the
Sprowl Case.
It was moved by Barnes seconded by 'Templin that the re-
port be received and the money turned over to the City 'Treasurer

It was moved by Barnes seconded by Templin that J. S.
1lenefee be liven a 30 day extension of time for completing tree
improvement on Soldano Avenue.

A petition was presented from some of the property htniers_
on Eleventh Street asking that the street be graded and clayed.
Some of the property owners on Soldano Avenue between
Center Street and Eight Street were before the Board regard-
ing the grade of the sidewalk on Soldano Avenue.
It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that the Public
Works Committee take the matter up with the City Engineer.
Motion carried.
Trustee Barnes offecred a Resolution and moved its
adoption being A RESOLUTION OI' THE BOARP OF TRUSTEES C9 THE
CITY OF AZUSA PROVIDING FOR TIE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN FUNDS.
The Resolution was read by the clerk and seconded $y
Robinson.

Absent: Clone
It was moved by Case seconded by Templin that the fol-
lowing bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasurer
for the same.

It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that the Public
Works Con2nittee investigate the condition of the bridge on
Azusa Avenue and install a guard rail if necessary. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Case seconded by Barnes that, the painting
of the fire hydrants be referred to the Public, \':ori: Committee
with power to act. Notion carried.
It was moved by Barnes seconded by Case the meeting
adjourn. Motion carried.
