MINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 4,1996 -10:12 P.M.
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above date
and time in the Civic Auditorium.
Chairman Alexander called the meeting to order.

b. The Agency Board approved the Disposition and Development Agreement with Nores DDA/
Don Nores on June 3, 1996. The Agreement required the Developer to close escrow waive 30
by July 10 or be penalized $250 per day from the power pole relocation fund. penalty
Escrow closed 30 days late due to many lender requirements. The building
construction is ahead of scheduled and Developer requested that the Agency waive
the penalty so the Developer may use the entire fund to pay for the pole relocation.
The 30 day late penalty was waived.
c. A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF

Chairman Alexander addressed item regarding the contract for consulting services from
SCS Engineers for site testing on the Krems property. He explained his vote by noting
that although he is against the Krems project, he does agree that the site needs to be
tested.
Moved by Director Beebe, seconded by Director Hardison and unanimously carried by
roll call to approve agreement between the Agency and SCS Engineers and its
execution was authorized.

It was consensus of the Board to recess at 8:48 p.m.

and unanimously carried by roll call to recess to Closed Session to discuss the
following:

Agency v. Mission Chrysler Plymouth, Inc., et al., Orange County Superior Court Case
No. 764504. Cason v. City of Azusa, United States District court, Central District of

City Attorney/General Counsel advised that there was no reportable action taken in
Closed Session.
Moved by Councilmember/Director Hardison, seconded by Mayor/Chairman Alexander
and unanimously carried by roll call to adjourn.
