CITY OF AZUSA
MINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY, JUNE 1, 1998 - 8:42 P.M.
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above date
and time in the Civic Auditorium.
Chairman Madrid called the meeting to order.

Secretary Solis, Deputy Secretary Toscano.
The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of items IV -A through IV -E was approved by Consent Cal
motion of Director Hardison, seconded by Director Rocha and unanimously carried. Approved
Directors noted that the Open House for the ROP home is scheduled for June 8, 1998.
A. The Minutes of the regular meeting of May 18, 1998; and the Special meeting of May Min approved
11, 1998, and Adjourned regular meeting of May 11, 1998, were approved as written.
B. Approval was given for a 90 day listing agreement with Robin Valentine for the Listing Agmt
marketing of the Agency owned home at 1040 North McKeever Avenue, built by R. Valentine
Azusa Unified School District/ROP. ROP bit home
C. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT Res. 98-R36

D. The Agency Treasurer's Report as of April 30, 1998, was received and filed. Treas Rpt
E. Resolution authorizing claims and demands was adopted and entitled:

AZUSA ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND DEMANDS TO BE PAID OUT OF Warrants
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FUNDS.
It was consensus of the Board members to recess to the end of the meeting.

THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RECONVENED Reconvened
AT 11:37 P.M.
City Attorney/General Counsel Carvalho advised that there was no reportable action taken City Attorney
in Closed Session. advised
It was consensus of Councilmembers/Boardmembers to adjourn to Tuesday, June 2, 1998, Adjourn
5:00 p.m., in the Council parking lot on Dalton to meet with the Riverfront Planning Group 6/2 & 6/10
to tour potential project areas, and if needed, return, and hold a workshop in the Library
Auditorium. Adjournment of that meeting will be to Wednesday, June 10, 1998, 6:30 p.m.
in the Library Auditorium, in order to hold a budget workshop and a public hearing
regarding extension of the moratorium on land use entitlements or building permit issuance
of new residential units adjacent to Azusa Greens Golf Course.
