The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at 7:30 P.M.
Present at roll c all Templin, Case, Roach, City Attorney

The minutds of June 19th and 25th, 1917 were read and approv-

It was moved by Barnes seconded by Robinson that the City of 6U'z'
Azusa rent the use of the water it is entitled to on thirty seven
shares of stock of the Azusa Agriculturat Water Co., 5 to C. H.
Lee, 2. to A.'Kleran, 10 to J. H. Munson and 20 to A. Hunvnel for.
use on their'land in the City of Azusa for the present irrigating
season for the sum of $1.50 per share, payable in advance, to-
gether with 'payment to said Water Co. of all its charges on same
and subject to the terms of Ordinance No. 186 of the City of Azusa

The opinion of the Railroad Commission granting the (YY96F-ffOvvt �^^`
City of Azusa the right to take over the lines of the Southern,
California F4diuon Co. on Tenth Street and on First Street leading
to the Azusa Irrigating Co. Pumping Plant and to the W. E. ,Klap-
eteky Pumping Plant.
It was moved by Barnse seconded by Robinson that the
deed from the Southern California Edison Co, to the City of Azusa
for the electric lines on Tenth Street and First Street, be re-
ceived and sent to the County Recorder to be recorded. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Templin seconded by Case that the City

Clerk be instructed to notify, at once, the representatives.of.
the Azusa Irrigating Co, and of the W. E. Klapetsky Estate
that the City of Azusa has taken over the service lines of the
Southern California Edison Co., successors to the Pacific Light
and Power Corp., used to furnish their respective pumpi4g plants
with electric energy, and that the Board of Trustees of the City
of Azusa will take up with them, on Friday evening July 20th,
1917 at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall in Azusa, the matter of
signing up a contract with the City to supply them with energy

Hill and Mr: F. S. Hayden to succedd themselves on the Library
Board.
