HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 35720 0 RESOLUTION NO. 3572 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS MONEY IN THE CITY TREASURY. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that there is, from time to time, surplus money in the treasury of the City which is not required for the immediate neces- sities of the City and that such funds should be invested pursuant to the provisions of Sections 53600 et seq, of the Government Code of the State of California. SECTION 2. The City shall invest portions of said surplus funds by purchasing out of said funds from time to time such amount or amounts of 91 -day United States Treasury Bills as the City Council shall specify by motion or resolution. SECTION 3. The City Treasurer is authorized and directed to carry out the provisions of this resolution. SECTION 4. All previous purchases of 91 -day United States Treasury Bills out of surplus funds of the City are hereby ratified and confirmed. SECTION 5. Resolution No. 3565, adopted the 7th day of January, 1957, is hereby repealed. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
