The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular sess-
ion at 7:30 P.M.
Present at roll call Barnes, Robinson, Templin, Roach and City
Cleric. Absent Case and City Attorney.
Communications were read from J. ii. )Wilson, B. F. Goodrich Co
and the County Council of Defense.
Trustee Case and the City Attorney now present.
].ir. ]::otter of the Contract )later Co. was before the Board
asking about a new power Contract and was instructed that one would
be presented a little later.
Mr. J. V. )Wilson and Ur. Corrick were before the Board re-
presenting Messmer & Rice and asking for a final settlement of
their claim against t,:e City of Azusa .-.nd showed receipts showing
they had paid the outstanding labor and material claims in Azusa. yy,,
It was moved by Case seconded by Templin that demand No. 130 racr��

less amount of '$`328.15, expended by the City. for work in con-
nection wit•,i said contract be allowed .for the aanount of "?1726.51
by way of compromise of all claims and demands vihatsoever of s, -,%id

T. S. Oki presented a thee_: for ',?18.75 and asked for a re-
newal of his pool -room .license for the quarter ending January 1st
1918.

be instructed to write P. 12. Steele, former City Attorney to tine

referred to the Public Works Committee with power to act and report
next meeting.

Rates, fixing the charge for each 1000 cubic feet or fractional
part thereof over the first 2000 cubic feet used each month at
20 cents. Motion carried.
It was moved by Templin seconded by Barnes that Street Supt
Jeffrey be allowed to purchase three tanho of oil for Azusa Ave.
