Present at roll call Barnes, Robinson, Templin, Roach and City Cleric. Absent Case and City Attorney. Communications were read from J. ii. )Wilson, B. F. Goodrich Co and the County Council of Defense. Trustee Case and the City Attorney now present. ].ir. ]::otter of the Contract )later Co. was before the Board asking about a new power Contract and was instructed that one would be presented a little later. Mr. J. V. )Wilson and Ur. Corrick were before the Board re- presenting Messmer & Rice and asking for a final settlement of their claim against t,:e City of Azusa .-.nd showed receipts showing they had paid the outstanding labor and material claims in Azusa. yy,, It was moved by Case seconded by Templin that demand No. 130 racr�� s 1U � of niessrmer & Rice' balance due on Original Contr.:ct for `0'2054.66 less amount of '$`328.15, expended by the City. for work in con- nection wit•,i said contract be allowed .for the aanount of "?1726.51 by way of compromise of all claims and demands vihatsoever of s, -,%id Rice to date, against the Cit o:i Azusa, Roll call Ayes: Barnes, Robinson, Templin, Case, Roach Noes: None Kosent: done T.
