HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 39410 0 RESOLUTION NO. 3941 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 3914 PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION FOR HOLIDAYS IN THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Section 91 of Rule XII of the Personnel Rules and Regulations, adopted by Resolution No. 3914, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new paragraph reading as follows: "Holidays shall be regular work days for members of the Fire and Police Departments, provided, however, that all members of said departments shall be paid for each of said holidays (other than a Monday following a holiday) one-half of their regular rate of pay for eight hours in addition to their regular compensation." SECTION 2. Resolution No. 2477, adopted January 2, 1951, is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 3rd day of August , 1959.
