A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DECLARING THAT A PROJECT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A SANITARY SEWER IN GEORGIA PLACE AND INDUSTRIAL
STREET CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY
LABOR AND THE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES THEREFOR
FURNISHED AT A LOWER PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKET AND
ORDERING THE PROJECT DONE IN SAID MANNER.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby finds and determines
that bids were duly invited for the construction of a sanitary sewer
in Georgia Place and Industrial Street; that the bids received have
been duly opened and declared; and that all of said bids have been
rejected.
SECTION 2. The City Council further finds and determines
that said project can be performed more economically by day labor and
the materials and supplies therefor furnished at a lower price in the
open market, and it is hereby ordered that the project be done in the
manner stated without further complying with Chapter 6 of Division 3 of
Title 4 of the Government Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 20th day of July, 1959.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 20th day of July, 1959, by the following vote of
the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Ortuno, Johnson, Teasley, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: NONE
ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE
