RESOLUTION NO. 3918
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DECLARING THAT A PROJECT FOR THE ERECTION
OF STREET LIGHT STANDARDS IN TRACT NO. 20502 CAN
BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR AND
THE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED AT A LOWER
PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKET AND ORDERING THE PROJECT
DONE IN THE MANNER STATED.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that notice has been duly published inviting bids for
the erection of street light standards in Tract No. 20502; that all
bids received have been duly opened and declared and all bids have
been rejected; that said project can be performed more economically
by day labor and the materials and supplies furnished at a lower
price in the open market.
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordered that said project be
performed by day labor and the materials and supplies procured in
the open market without further compliance with Chapter 6, Division
3, Title 4 of the Government Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of July, 1959, by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Ortuno, Johnson, Teasley, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None
