HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 38830 RESOLUTION NO. 3883 0 A -RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS IN TRACT NO. 18063, DECLARING THAT THE PROJECT CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR, AND ORDERING THE PROJECT DONE IN THE MANNER STATED. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa did duly advertise for bids for the installation of street lights in Tract No. 18063, and WHEREAS, the City Council did in open session on the 6th day of April, 1959, publicly examine and declare all sealed proposals for the installation of street lights.in Tract No. 18063, and WHEREAS, said bids have been duly considered; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows: SECTION 1. That all bids received pursuant to notice duly published for the installation of street lights in Tract No. 18063, as aforesaid, be and the same are hereby rejected. SECTION 2. That the City Council does hereby find, declare and determine that the said project can be performed more economically by day labor and the materials and'supplies furnished at a lower price in the open market and that the City proceed with said project in the manner stated. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 20th day of April 1959.
