HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 39846 • RESOLUTION NO. 398+ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF BASELINE ROAD AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY AND TO THE IMPROVEMENT THEREOF. WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles adopted a resolution on January 12, 1960, declaring Baseline Road between Citrus Avenue and a point approximately 165 feet westerly of Citrus Avenue to be a County highway and declaring the intention of the County to improve the same, and WHEREAS, the consent of the City of Azusa is required pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways Code; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Azusa consent, and it does hereby consent, to the inclusion of said portion of Baseline Road as a part of the system of highways of the County of Los Angeles and to the improvement thereof by said County in the manner proposed by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles.
