A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE PLACING OF CERTAIN STOP
SIGNS, THE REMOVAL OF CERTAIN STOP SIGNS AND
THE INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN OTHER TRAFFIC CONTROL
DEVICES.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 3.01 (c) of Ordinance No.
438, the Chief of Police, having determined upon the basis of traffic
engineering principles and traffic investigations that stop signs
should be erected at the following locations, is hereby authorized
to erect stop signs at said locations, to -wit:
On 11th Street at its intersection with Pasadena, East and West bound.
On 9th Street at its intersection with Pasadena, East and West bound.
On 3rd Street at its intersection with Pasadena, East and West bound.
On Alameda Avenue at its intersection with First Street, South bound.
On Dalton Avenue at its intersection with First Street, South bound.
On Duell Street at its intersection with Orange Avenue, East and West
bound.
On Angeleno Avenue at its intersection with Crescent Drive, South bound.
On Durrell Avenue at its intersection with 5th Street.
On Russell Avenue at its intersection with Pasadena Avenue, West bound.
On Russell Avenue at its intersection with Cerritos Avenue, East bound.
On First Street at its intersection with Irwindale Avenue, East and
West bound.
On McKinley Avenue -at its intersection with Irwindale Avenue, East
and West bound.
On Paramount Avenue at its intersection with Irwindale, East and West
bound.
On Roosevelt Avenue at its intersection with Irwindale, East and West
bound.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 3.01 (f) of Ordinance No.
438, the Chief of Police, having determined that the conditions which
warranted or required the installation of stop signs at the following
locations no longer exist or obtain, is hereby authorized and directed
to remove the stop signs at the following locations, to -wit:
Pasadena Avenue at its intersection with 9th Street, North and South
bound.
Pasadena Avenue at its intersection with 3rd Street, North and South
bound.
Crescent Drive at its intersection with Angeleno, East bound.
First Street at its intersection with San Gabriel, East and West bound.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 3.01 (c) of Ordinance No.
438, the Chief of Police, having determined upon the basis of traffic
engineering principles and traffic investigations that the following
traffic control devices are necessary to regulate traffic, is hereby
authorized to place and maintain the following traffic control devices,
to -wit:
Official 25 MPH signs on 5th Street East of Cerritos Avenue and on
11th Street East of Vernon Avenue and East of Northside Park.
School sign on 5th Street East of Pasadena Avenue.
School crossing stop when occupied sign on 5th Street North side
just west of the East crosswalk at Cerritos Avenue.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 15th day of February 1960.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 15th day of February , 1960, by the follow-
ing vote of the Council:
