HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 42520 6 RESOLUTION NO. 4252 A RESOLUTION;.40F, THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDINd,THE PERSONOV-RULES AND REGULATI, AS ADOPTED BY, -RESOLUTION N0, 3914'PERTAINING TO MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF APPLICANTS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Upon recommendation to the City Council duly made by the Personnel Board, paragraph 6 of -Section 55 of Rule VII of the Personnel Rules and Regulations, adopted by Resolution No. 3914, is hereby amended to read as follows: "(6) Medical: Within a period of 15 days before 5r&at-fonary appointment to a position in the classified service, the appointee must pass a satisfactory medical examination by a physician designated by the City. If he shall fail to pass such examination, his name shall be removed from the eligible list. If such applicant is able to pass a subsequent satisfactory medical examination (at his own expense) while the eligible list is still in existence, his name shall be restored to such list or he may be reinstated to his former position if it is still open. Such rein- statement or restoration shall not affect any appointments made while such aRplicant's name was not on the eligible list.' SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
