Present at rollccall:Barnes,Robinson,Blerbower,Templin,Case,City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of regular meeting held September 3rd,regular adjour- F P * fi— ned sessions of September 4th.and 5th.,a.nd special meeting of Sept. 13th.3.918,were read and approved. 71.7 It was moved by Templin seconded by Robinson that the application 7 of the Empire Security Co.for a deed to,the property sold under street improvement proceedings be referred to the City Attorney to report. Motion carried. A letter was read from the State Board of Health granting the City of Azusa a temporary permit to use the water of the SanGabriel river. The resignation of H.B.Roney,City Treas.wa.s read. It was moved 14.0 �T, by Robinson sec.by Barnes that the resignation be accepted. CARPENTER TO THE OFFICE OF CITY TREASURER, OF SAID CITY AND ssR FIXING HIS SALARY OR COMPEITSATIO11.. The resolution was read. It was moved by Barnes seconded by Robinson that the resolution be adopted as read. Roll call;Barnes,Robinson,Bierbovrer,Templin,Case. Noes;ITone. Absent;None. It was moved by Barnes seconded by Bierbower that the Finance r^- Committee be requested to check up the books of the outgoing < <` Treasurer in conjunction with the President of the Board of Trustees and the City Treasurer elect. Motion carried. Motion carried. It was moved by Barnes seconded by Templin that the City Light 9 and Water Superintendent be instructed to purchase one 10 amp.3 wire meter and five 5 amp.3 wire meters. It was moved by Barnes seconded by Templin that the f9llowing bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasurer for the same.
