RESOLUTION N0. 4321
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION
OF GLADSTONE STREET AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY AND TO THE
IMPROVEMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles adopted a resolution on March 13, 19629 declaring Gladstone
Street between Pasadena and Cerritos Avenue to be a County highway
and declaring the intention of the County to construct curb, gutter,
pavement and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, the consent of the City of Azusa is required
pursuant to Section 1700 to 17049inclusive,of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Azusa
consent, and it does hereby consent, to the inclusion of said portion
of Gladstone Street as a part of the system of highways of the County
of Los Angeles and to the improvement thereof by said County in the
manner proposed by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles.
Adopted and approved this 19th day of March, 1962.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 19th day of March 1962, by the
following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Paul, Mc Lees, Johnson, Teasley, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
