HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 43170 0 RESOLUTION NO. 4317 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ESTABLISHING A GREEN FIFTEEN MINUTE PARKING ZONE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD BEGINNING AT ALAMEDA AVENUE WEST APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa pursuant to Section 3200.36 of the Azusa Municipal Code, hereby finds that the public health safety and welfare will best be protected by the establishment of a Green Fifteen Minute Parking Zone on the south side of Foothill Boulevard beginning at Alameda Avenue west approximately 150 feet. SECTION 2. The City Council does hereby establish and declare said area set forth in Section 1 of this Resolution as a Green Fifteen Minute Parking Zone. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall not become effective until said zones are painted in accordance with State law in order to carry out the purposes of this Resolution. In addition, this Resolution shall not become effective until the some has been approved in writing by the Department of Public Works of the State of California. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall cease to be operative six months after receipt by the City Council of written notice of withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public Works.
