A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4131 TO ADD THERETO
ONE STENOGRAPHER -CLERK AND ONE MECHANIC'S HELPER.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That portion of Section 1 of Resolution No. 4131,
adopted.January 3, 1961, under the heading of "General Administration",
is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following:
"1 Mechanic's Helper 16"
SECTION 2. That portion of Section 1 of said Resolution No.
4131 under the heading of "Fire Department" is hereby amended by the
addition thereto of the following:
"1

SECTION 3. Section 2 of said Resolution No. 4131 is hereby
amended by the addition to the classification schedules attached thereto
of that certain classification schedule for Mechanic's Helper which is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit A. and hereby made a part hereof.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 6th day of August , 1962.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 6th day of August , 1962, by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Jackson, McLees, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: Cooney

Definition
Under supervision, to perform and assist in
performing semi-skillod meohanioal work on a wide variety
of mechanised equipment end foollitios; and to do rclated
work as roquirede
Typical Tasks
Repair or assists in making repairs to trunks,
trailers, hoists, compressors, mowers, traotors, sweepers,
cement mixers, sprey rigs, lawn renovators and other
forms of city owned mechanised equipment; does simple
electric and acetylene welding; remove#, die -assembles
and reassemblos engines, gear boxes, carburetors, auto-
motive electrical systems end other related components,
replacing worn or dofeotive machinery parts; analyses
mechanical difficulties, confirming them with the super-
visor for repair instructions; does minor tune-up and
edustmont, tire, brake and minor body repair work, and
related work as required*
SmplUEnt Standards
A combination of oxporience and training sub-
stantially equivalent tb that represented by completion of
the 10thode, and 1 year of experience in automotive
repair onfsorvicing in a modeltn automotive repair shop.
Must possess a valid vehicle operator#@ or
chauffeur's license, issued by the State of California,
Department of Motor Vehicles.
Must be in good general health and free from
disabling defoctse
