HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4381RESOLUTION NO. 4381 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING THE CITY CLERK TO ISSUE A CERTIFICATE OF CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY FOR THE OPERATION OF A TAXICAB SERVICE. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine that application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity for the operation of a taxicab service was duly filed by Jerry J. Krizman under the firm name and style of Azusa, Edgewood and West Covina Cab Company; that said application was duly set for hearing; that notice thereof was duly given; that said hearing was duly conducted by the City Council on the 18th day of June, 1962; and that the public interest, convenience and necessity require the issuance of the certificate applied- for. ppliedfor. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to issue to Jerry J. Krizman doing business as Azusa, Edgewood and West Covina Cab Company a certificate of public convenience and necessity in accordance with the said application, subject to the filing and approval of an undertaking in compliance with Part 4, Chapter 3, Article VI of the Azusa Municipal Code. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 2nd day of July , 1962. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of July , 1962, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Cooney, McLees, Ortuno NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT:Councilmen: Jackson City Clerk
