RESOLUTION NO. 4492
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING
THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed by AZUSA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT under date of 16th day of April 1963, granting to the CITY
OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its
successors and assigns, the right to construct, use, maintain, alter, add
to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on, and over the real property
hereinafter described, situate in the City of Azusa, Los Angeles County,
California, a sanitary sewer line. Said real property is described as follows:
An easement for sanitary sewer purposes 12 feet in width over
a portion of Lot 88 of Subdivision No. 2 of Azusa Land and Water
Company as per map recorded in book 43, page 94 of Miscellaneous
Records, in the office of the county recorder,coanty of Los Angeles,
state of California, the centerline of which is described as follows:
Beginni at a point on the centerline of Fifth Street (formerly
Alosta Avenue 60 feet wide, said point being North 89°591 14" East
213.06 feet from the intersection of said centerline with the cen-
terline of Cerritos Avenue, 80 feet wide; thence North 63019' 34"
East 281.93 feet to a point 6 feet Northwesterly of and perpendi-
cular to the Southerly Terminus of that course described as North
63055, 40" East 321.03 feet in deed to the Los Angeles County Flood
Control District recorded in Book 40429, Page 283 of Official
Records of said County; thence North 63019' 34" East 321.03 feet
parallel with and 6 feet Northwesterly of said last described line;
thence North 55032' 43" East 210.61 feet to a point on the certer-
line of Rockvale Avenue (40 feet wide) distant North 000' 06" West
389.67 feet from the certerline intersection of said Rockvale and
Alosta Avenues.
Excepting THAT portion lying within the Right -of -Way of Rockvale
and Alosta Avenues.
ALSO EXCEPTING THAT portion lying within the Right -of -Way of
the Los Angeles County Flood Control District.
The Grantee, its successors and assigns and its and their agents and
employees shall have free access to said sewer line and every part thereof
for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted so long as said
rights are exercised in a manner which will cause the least interference
with the conduct of school activities.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record
in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 3rd day of June 1963, by the following vote of the Council:
