HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4449RESOLUTION NO. 4449 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA RECOMMENDING THAT THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT EXTEND A SANITARY SEWER ALONG IRWINDALE AVENUE NORTH TO FIRST STREET WHEREAS, extension of an adequate sewer along Irwindale Avenue has been contemplated and justified by the Los Angeles County Sanitation District in the post, and WHEREAS, sewers have been recently completed to a point north of Arrow Highway, and WHEREAS, the need for adequate sewers along Irwindale Avenue continues to become more pressing since the area served is the most rapidly developing industrial area in the City of Azusa; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the Los Angeles County Sanitation District be requested to reserve funds in the 1963 budget for extension of an adequate sewer from present terminus north of Arrow Highway to First Street in Azusa. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
