HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 44449 RESOLUTION NO. 4444 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT N0. 46. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on January 7, 1963, Resolution No. 4430 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 46, and fixing the 18th day of February, 1963, as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of the said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published; that said hearing was duly held on February 18, 1963; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 18th day of February , 1963. / It I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of February , 1963, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Ortuno NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT:Councilmen: None
