RESOLUTION NO. 4428
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DESCRIBING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE CONSOLIDATED
COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHICH HAVE BEEN
INCLUDED WITHIN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND DECLARING THE
SAME WITHDRAWN FROM SAID DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1., The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that all those portions of the Consolidated County Fire Pro-
tection District included within the following described annexations
have been and are included within the City of Azusa by reason of said
respective annexations, to -wit:
Easterly Annexation District No. 43, effective
May 7, 1962.
Easterly Annexation District No. 44, effective
May 21, 1962.
Southerly Annexation District No. 45, effective
July 24, 1962.
Correcting, relocating and altering a portion of
the Easterly Boundary Line of the City of Azusa
by Resolution No. 44000 filed with the Secretary
of State September 13, 1962.
SECTION 2. All those portions of the Consolidated County
Fire Protection District included within the said annexations to the City
of Azusa are hereby declared withdrawn from said Consolidated County
Fire Protection District effective as of January 31, 1963.
SECTION 3, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall, before February 1, 1963, file certified copies
thereof with the State Board of Equalization, the governing body of said
Fire Protection District, the County Clerk, the Registrar of Voters and
the County Assessor of the County of Los Angeles.
Adopted and approved this 7th day of January, 1963.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 7th day of January, 1963, by the following vote
of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None
