HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 45530 RESOLUTION NO. 4553 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 53. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on September 16, 1963, Resolution No. 4538 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 53, and fixing the 4th day of November, 1963, as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published, that said hearing was duly held and finally adjourned on November 4, 1963; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
