A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE RECOGNITION OF CERTAIN
SIGNATURES AND FACSIMILE SIGNATURES ON WARRANTS.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The First National Bank of Azusa as a designated
depositary of this City be and it (including its correspondent banks)
is hereby requested, authorized, and directed to honor all checks,
drafts, or other orders for the payment of money drawn in this City's
name on its General Fund Account (including those drawn to the individual
order of any person or persons whose names appear thereon as signer or
signers thereof) WHEN BEARING OR PURPORTING to bear the facsimile signa-
ture of any one of the following:
Louis G. Memmesheimer, Mayor, or
Hickory S. Jackson, Mayor Pro Tempore,
together with the written signatures of James Miller, City Clerk, or
Dorothy oe r c , Deputy City Clerk, and Alec Watkins, City Treasurer,
or Adelaide Johns, Deputy City Treasurer, examples of those signatures
appear below upon this resolution. The First National Bank of Azusa
(including its correspondent banks) shall be entitled to honor and to
charge this City's account for all such checks, drafts or other orders
for the payment of money, which bear the written signatures above required,
regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or purported facsimile
signature or signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such
facsimile specimens from time to time filed with the First National Bank
of Azusa by the City Clerk or other officer of this City.
SECTION 2. Resolutions Nos. 4343 and 4405 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the First
National Bank of Azusa.
