HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4645RESOLUTION N0. 4645 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST NORTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT N0. 60 AS REVISED. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on March 16, 1964, Resolution No. 4617 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Northerly Annexation District No. 60, and fixing the 4th day of May, 1964s as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published; and said hearing was duly held and finally adjourned on May 4, 1964; that pursuant to Section 35008 of the Government Code, on May 4, 1964, the City Council did by resolution exclude certain property from the territory to be annexed; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation as revised; and that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 4th day of May , 1964. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of May , 1964, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Couneilmen: None
