HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 46430 A RESOLUTION AZUSA FINDING HAS NOT BEEN DISTRICT NO. u RESOLUTION NO. 4643 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION 58. The City Council of the City of -Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1., The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on March 2, 1964, Resolution No. 4613 was duly adopted by the City Council relating to proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 58, and fixing the 20th day of April, 1964, as the date for the hearing of pro- tests thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published; and said hearing was duly held, no protest was presented and said meeting was finally adjourned on April 20, 1964; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
