HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4642RESOLUTION NO. 4642 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO. 57. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby find and declare that on March 2, 1964, Resolution No. 4612 was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory therein described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 57, and fixing the 20th day of April, 1964, as the date for the hearing thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said hearing was duly given and published• and said hearing was duly held and finally adjourned on April 20, 1964; that a majority protest was not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that ten days have not elapsed after the said hearing. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 4th day of May , 1964. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of May 1964, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None NEW Clerk
