A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST
HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION
DISTRICT NO. 52.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does
hereby find and declare that on January 20, 1964, Resolution No. 4594
was duly adopted by the City Council relating to proceedings for the
annexation to the City of Azusa of certain inhabited territory therein
described and designated as Southerly Annexation District No. 52, and
fixing the 17th day of February, 1964, as the date for the hearing of
protests thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said
hearing was duly given and published; and said hearing was duly held,
no protest was presented and said meeting was finally adjourned on
February 17, 1964; that a majority protest was not made or presented
against said proposed annexation; and that ten days have not elapsed
after the said hearing.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 17th day of February , 1964.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 17th day of February , 19642 by the follow-
ing vote of the Coun-al =-
