RESOLUTION NO. 4600
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF PARAMOUNT STREET.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS proceedings were instituted by the City
Council to vacate a certain portions of Paramount Street in the City
of Azusa under the provisions of Part 30 Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, and a resolution of its
intention to vacate said portion of Paramount Street was adopted and
approved on the 6th day of January, 1964, and a hearing fixed for the
3rd day of February, 1964s and notice was given in accordance with
Section 9322 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
and after hearing had as scheduled and there were no valid protests or
reasons given as to why said portions of said street should not be
vacated, and the City Council does hereby determine that said portions
of said street are unnecessary for present or prospective public street
purposes; therefore, that the certain portions of said street, herein-
after described, be and the same are hereby vacated, to -wit:
The southerly five feet and the northerly five feet
Of Paramount Street in the City of Azusa, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, from Irwindale
Avenue easterly to a point 120 feet east of the
east right-of-way line of Irwindale Avenue.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof attested by said
City Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
Adopted and approved this 3rd day of February 1964.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the -City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 3rd day of February , 1964, by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Ortuno
NOES: Councilmen: None
