A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES AND LEVYING TAXES FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1964.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of raising the sums of money
necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property of
the City of Azusa, as a revenue to carry on the various departments
of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1964, the rates
for the different portions of said City are hereby fixed and taxes
are hereby levied on all taxable property in the different portions
of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1964, in the
number of cents upon One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of
said property as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, and with
respect to certain property as assessed by the State Board of
Equalization and equalized by said Board, and for the several
funds and purposes set forth in the following table, the taxes
levied upon said property in each portion of said City hereinafter
described and designated by a District number, being at the rates
set opposite the designation of the respective funds in the column
headed by the District number which is prefixed to the description
of such portion of said City as hereinafter stated.
TAXATION DISTRICT NO. 1. Consisting of all of that portion
of the City of Azusa which was included within its original
incorporation, plus that certain territory known as the Paramount
Tract, annexed to the City of Azusa by Resolution No. 533, adopted
February 18, 1918.
TAXATION DISTRICT NO. 2. Consisting of all that portion of
the City of Azusa not included in Taxation District No. 1 above
described and including all that territory annexed to the City of
Azusa by the following annexation proceedings: Annexation of a
portion of Lot 20, Subdivision 2, Azusa Land and Water Company,
generally known as the American Cyanamid Company property, by
Ordinance No. 451, effective August 25, 1952; Annexation of a
portion of Lot 88, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company,
known as the Lee School Annexation, by Ordinance No. 465, effective
August 28, 1953; Easterly Annexation No. 4, effective July 21, 1955;
Easterly Annexation No. 5 (Revised), effective August 5, 1955;
Northerly Annexation District No. 6, effective July 7, 1955;
Southerly Annexation No. 7, effective March 22, 1956; Easterly
Annexation No. 10, effective January 3, 1956; Easterly Annexation
No. 11, effective August 3, 1956; Easterly Annexation No. 12
(Revised), effective on or about January 17, 1957; Northerly
Annexation District No. 15, effective November 15, 1956; Easterly
Annexation No. 16, effective November 26, 1956; Southerly Annexa-
tion No. 23, effective August 21, 1957; Southebly Annexation
District No. 25, effective November 8, 1957; Southerly Annexation
District No. 26, effective November 8 1957• Southerly Annexation

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once in
the Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a semi-weekly newspaper printed,
published and circulated in the City of Azusa, and immediately
upon its adoption the same shall be in full force and effect.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Azusa on the 25th day
of August , 1964.
