RESOLUTION NO. 4714
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by SAN GABRIEL RIVER
SPREADING CORPORATION, a corporation, JOHNNY E. JOHNSON, GLENN R. WATSON
and RODEFFER INDUSTRIES, INC., a corporation, under date of 10th day of August, 1964,
granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California,
its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes
for utility purposes in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property
situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
Those portions of Lots 57 and 65 of Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company as
recorded in book 43, page 94 of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of the County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land 7 feet wide, the northerly line of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of said Lot 57, 30.00 feet westerly of the northeast
comer thereof; thence easterly along the northerly lines of said Lots 57 and 65 a distance of
237.09 feet.
Also, a strip of land 12 feet wide, the centerline being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of Lot 65, said point being easterly 177.09 feet from
the northwest corner of said Lot 65; thence South 61' 07' 22" West a distance of 30.00 feet.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said
County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
