A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Giant of Easement executed by GLENDORA IRRIGATING
COMPANY, a corporation, JOHNNY E. JOHNSON, GLENN R. WATSON, RODEFFER
INDUSTRIES, INC., a corporation under date of 7th day of August, 1964, granting to the
CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors
and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for utility
purposes In, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate
In the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wih
That portion of the South 1/2 of Lot 64, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company
as recorded in book 43, page 94, of Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land 12 feet in width, the centerline being described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest comer of Lot 1, Tract No. 20971 as recorded in book 593, page 65,
66 and 67 inclusive in the Office of said County Recorder; thence North 77° 40' 35" West
767.46 feet to a point designated as Point "A" for the purpose of this description and continuing
on the some bearing a distance of 30.00 feet.
Also, a strip of land 7 feet wide, the northwesterly line of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at said Point "A"; thence South 61' 07' 22" West a distance of 446.24 feet to an
intersection with the southerly line of Lot 64, distant easterly thereon 177.09 feet from the
southwest comer of said Lot 64 and designated as Point "B" for the purpose of this description.
Also, a strip of land 7 feet wide, the northwesterly line of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at said Point "A"; thence North 61° 07' 22" East a distance of 40 feet.
Also, a strip of land 5 feet wide, the southerly line of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at said Point "B'; thence easterly along the southerly line of Lot 64 a distance of
30 feet, the northerly sideline of said strip being shortened to Intersect a line passing through
Point "B" having a bearing of North 60' 07' 22" East.
Grantee by acceptance hereof agrees that in the exercise of the rights granted herein no excava—
tion of any kind shall be made or poles erected closer than four feet from the existing 20" steel
water line owned by Glendora Irrigating Company located in or close to the 12 foot strip of
land described above, the centerline of which has a bearing of North 770 40' 35" West.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
