HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4711RESOLUTION NO. 4711 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DENYING AN APPLICATION FOR A VARIANCE. (Creative Display Advertising - McCruden) The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The application for a variance for two temporary signs on property located on the south side of Alosta Avenue between the Stardust Motel and Rockvale Avenue, having been duly filed and heard -by the Planning Commission after proper notice, the Planning Commission having denied the same, and the same having been appealed to and heard by the City Council after due notice, the City Council finds that the public welfare does not require that said application for a variance be granted and that sufficient grounds therefor have not been established. SECTION 2. Said application for a variance for temporary signs on said property is hereby disapproved and denied. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and transmit a certified copy thereof to applicant. Adopted and approved this 17th day of August, 1964. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of August, 1964, by the following vote, of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Jackson, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT:Councilmen: None 0
