The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular adjourned session at 3 otclock P.M-..
Present at roll call;Barnes,Robinsoil,Goslin,Bier-
bower,Case,City Att'y.& City Clerk.
It was moved and carried that the regular order
of Buisness and the reading of the minutes be dis-
pensed with.
The Sanitary & Police Committee recommended that PEWT FOR ATHIZTIC
the application of Hx.Trujillo for a permit to org- CLUB DENIED,.;
anize an athletic club be denied.
It was moved by Barnes seconded by Bierbotver that
the report be approved. Motion carried.

Street was read. CO.ACCEPTEI).
It Was moved by Bierbotv,,::r seconded by Barnes that it
is the sense of this Board that the proposition of
the Austin -Western Road Machinery Co.dated August 7,
1919 on file with this Board as to doing certain work
on Centre Street,be accepted with the understanding
that it is the intention as soon as said work is com-
pleted to purchase a road grader and scarifier -for the
use of the City of Azusa,but that the City of Azusa is
not financially able at this time to incur the neces_
sary expense of purchasing a road roller,but will leave
such purchase for further consideration hereafter,and
that the City Clerk be instructed to commmnicate by :- ..7
letter the substance of this motion to said.Company.
Terms of payment for work to be cash upon completion
of aame satisfactory to the Board. The scarifier and
grader to be bought on terms of $500.cash on delivery of
'of scarifier and the balance on or before January 1,1920.

It was moved by Bierbotver seconded by Goslin that the
bill of R.L.Vood for servises amounting to $18.be
allowed and awarrant ordered drawn for the same.

It was moved by Bierbovier seconded by Goslin that
the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
