RESOLUTION NO 278.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OI,' THE CITY OF AZUSA
CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION IPI THE CITY OF AZUSA.
Resolved,thot a special municipal election be held
in the City of Azusa on the 24th day of June, 1913, for
the purpose of voting upon the question,' Shall the
Ordinance entitled"An Ordinance for Police Regulation,
Relating to Billiard Halls, Pool Rooms and Places where
Billiards, Ynn) -r Cn�nbination Billiard and Pool Tables
are kept for Hire or Public Use in the City of Azuss,"
be adopted."
That the number of Election precincts for such
election shall be one to be known and designated as
Special Election Precinct Nol and the Boundaries of such
election precinct shall be the exterior boundaries of
the City of Azusa. That the polling place for such elec-
tion is hereby designated as the Council Chamber of the
City of Azusa, which said chamber Is situated in the
southwest corner of the City Hall, said Hall being
situated at the northeast intersection of Centre Street
and Alameda Avenue in said City.
That the polls for such Election shall be opened
at 0:00 o'clock A. M. of said 24th, day of June, 1913,
and shall remain open until 6400oo'clock P. 11. of said
24th, day of June, 1913, at which time they shall close.

That the officers of the Board of Election for
such election shall be as follows, to-wit; Two judges,
two inspectors and two clerks , and the following per-
sons are hereby designated as the officers of such elec-
tion, respectively:.
Judges, J. C. Crickmore and M. T. Durrell.
Inspectors: A. Rur�--,_ and F. C. Prang.
Clerks, H. O. Willi'ame_ and Leroy Calvert.
That the compensation of such officers for all
services performed upon such Board shall be $5.00 each.
That notice of the time and place of holding,such
election is hereby given and the Coity Clerk is directed

to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published
three times In the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper,

printed, published and circulated in said City and
hereby designated as the newspaper for that purp"o , ,
and shall post a copy thereof in three public places
in the City of Azusa at least one week prior to the
date of said election.
The foregoing Resolution was duly adopted at a
regular meeting of the Hoard of Trustees of the City of
Azusa held on IbLy 19tli, 1913; by the affirmative vote
:of at least three trustees of'the City o" -%Azusa, to -wit;
Ayes; Collins, Barnes, ClArk, Case and Roach,
Does; None,
Absent; None,
