A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES -OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE A PORTION OF AZUSA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND DETERMINING THAT SERIAL BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT THE COST THEREOF. The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do r000lve as follows; , Section 1. That the public interest and con- venience require and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa. State 6f California, to order the following street work to be done in said City of Azusa, torwit; First. That a cement sidewalk,five (5) feet in width be constructed along each side of the roadway of said Azusa Avenue from the southerly curb line of Fourth Street to,the northerly curb line of First Street, (except along such portions of said street upon which a moment sidewalk five (5) feet in width has already beep constructed and now is to the official line and grade,) in accordance with and where shown .upon the. Improve- ment plan, profile ,and Cross-sections NO B 21, and in further accordance with specifications NO 10, for the construction of cement sidewalks in the City of Azusa, adopted by the Board.of Trustees of the City of Azusa by Ordinance NO 151 of said City. Second. That a cement curb (Class B.) be constructed along; each side of the roa.dwaY of Azusa Avenue from the southerly curb line of Hourth Street to the northerly curb line of First Street (Except along such portions of said street upon whif;h a cement curb has already been constructed and now is to the official line and grade) in accordance with and where shown upon the Improve - Ment plan, Profile, and cross-sections NO B 21, and in further accordance with Specifications NO 12 for the construction of cement curbs in • • 357 the City of Azytsa, adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, by Ordinance No 151 of said City. Section 2. That the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa determines that serial bonds shall be issued to represent assessments of Twe-nty-five.dollars ($25.00) or over for the cost of said work or improvement ; said serial bonds shall extend over a period ending nine (9) years from and after,the second day of January next succeeding the date of said bonds, and an even annual proportion of the principal sum thereof shall be payable , by coupon, on the second, day of January every year after their date until the whole is paid; and the, interest shall be payable semi_o�nnually,by coupon, on the second days of January and July, respec- tively , of each year, at the rate of, seven (7) per cent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said principal and interest are paid. Said bonds shall. be issued In accordance with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled ,"AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR iPORY IN AND UPON STREETS, AVENUES, LANES, ALLEYS, COURTS, PLACES AND SITXWALKS WITHIN MUNICIPALITiIIS AND UPON PROPERTY AND RIGHTS OF PLAY OVONED BY MUNICIPALITIES AND FOR ESTABLISHING AND CHANGING THE GRADES OF ANY SUCH STRirET$,.AVENUES, LANES, ALLEYS, COUR'T'S, PLACES, AND SIDECIAIXS AND PROVIDIND FOR TEE ISSUANCE AND PAYMENT OF STRI�0iT IMPROVE=1NT BONDS TO REPRESIOT CMTAIN ASSESS=TTS FOR THE COSTS TIiI,2?EOF, AND PROVIDING A l9ETHOD FOR TIDE ,PAYMENT, OF SUCH BONDS", approved April,7th,1911, and all acts supplementary thereto or amendatory thereof. SECT 1 N.3 AIY imDrovement plans, profiles, and cross-sections hereinbefore mentioned are hereby made a part of this Resolution and are referred to for a more particular description of said work and made a part hereof. < < All specifications referred to in this Resolution are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa. ` All improvement plans, profiles and cruse -sections referred to in this Resolution are on file in the office 358 of the City Engineer of the City of Azusa. All streets referred to in this.Resolution are public streets in the, City of Azusa. Section 4. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Azusa shall immediately post or cause to be posted aonspicuously along the lines of said work and improvement, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention and i m the manner and forta required by law. Section 5. The above Resolution is hereby de- eignated and in all proceedings hereinafter had thereunder, shall be known and referred to as Resolution of Intention NO 362. , Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify, to the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published by two insertions in "THE POMOTROPIC", a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Azusa and hereby designated by the Board of Trustees for that pur-, pose. , Adopted and approved this 20th day of April, 1914.
