ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM AiID A 1dUNICIPAL VATLR SYSTrJI':I, 112S1?=, TIVELY. Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, as follows; Section 1. That the Board of Trustees of the City - of Azusa, on the 2nd day of November 1914, proceeded to canvass the returns of the Bond Election held on the 24th day of October,1914, at which election the following pro- positions were submitted and voted upon; Proposition NO 1. Shall the City of Azusa incur a bonded indebtedness of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars for the purpose of acquiring, constructinu and completing by purchaoe, condemnation, or otherwise land or lands for the purpose of developing water thereon; water and water rights of whatsoever kind or nature; allneeessary machinery and equipment for the development of water upon said land or lands, wells or other means or matters of producing or- proauring water; rights -of -ways for pipe lines, acqueduets, ditches, tunnels,- or other means which may be necessary or convenient in coriveying such water .from its source of production to point of distribution and pipe, pipes, tunnels, pipe lines, :aqueducts, ditched and other means for the purpose of conveying such water from its source of production to such point ofdistribution as said City of Azusa may desire. Proposition NO 2. Shall the Cit.r of Azusa incur a bonded indebtedness of Twenty Thousand Dollars for the purpose of acquiring, constructing and completing poles, wires, transformers, cross -arms, electrio maters, tools and any and all kinds of supplies and materials necessary for the acquisition, constructiihn and completion of an Electric Distributing system in the City of Azusa. 0 9 63' Section 2. That the whole number of votes cast at such election on Proposition NO 1, set forth herein was 457; and that the whole number of votes cast at such election on Proposi- tion NO 2, set forth herein, was 447. Section 3. That at such election 307 votes were cast in favor of Proposition NO 1, and 150 votes were cast in opposition to Proposition NO land at such election 301 votes were cast in favor of Proposition NO 2, and 146 votes were cast in opposition to Proposition NO 2. Section 4. That said Proposition No 1 having received at such election more than two-thirds of the whole number of votes cast at such election, in favor thereof, is hereby de- clared to have been carried; and that said 13roposition NO 2 having received at such election, the votes of more than two- thirds of all voters 1roting at such special election, is hereby declared to have been carried; and that the issuance of the Bonds under both propositions is hereby declared to have authorized by the qualified Electors voting at said election, to the amounts stated in said propositions. Section 5. The City Clerk shall certisy to the passage of this Resolution, and the carne shall take effect and be in force then and thereafter. ATTEST: C.17.13ouldin. City Clerk. J.S.Colline.
