OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT AND TH..T THE EXPENSE OF SAID WCRK SHALL BE ASSESSED UPON A DISTRICT AND DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT THE COST THEREOF. The Board of 'Trustees of the City of Azusa do resolve as follows: That the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa to order the following work done, to -wit: itSECTION 1. (a) That a reinforced concrete culvert with wing walls for entrance and cutlet be constructed along the westerly side of the roadway of San Gabriel Avenue across the intersec- tion thereof with Ninth Street, excepting therefrom such por- tions of said street, as are used by the track, between the rails and for two feet on each side thereof and between the i tracks, if there is more than one, of any person or company having said railroad track or tracks thereon, the northerly i end of said culvert shall be four (4) feet northerly from and I j parallel with the northerly line of Ninth Street and the south- erly end of said culvert shall be four (4) feet southerly from and parallel with the southerly line of Ninth Street, and the center lite of said culvert shall be on a line which is paral- lel with and distant 18 feet easterly from the west -1 erly property line of San Gabriel Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30", and Improvement Cross -Section No. "E 100" and Plans Details and Cross sections No. "C 20" and (1) 171 E 3 4 ' 5 8 7 8 ` 8 10 11 12 13 14 16 16 17 18 a 19 in further accordance with Special Specifications "X" for the construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the City of Azusa,which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. (b) That a reinforced concrete culvert with wing walls for entrance and outlet be constructed along the easterly side of the roadway of San Gabriel Avenue across the intersection thereof with Ninth Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are used by the track between the rails and for two (2) feet on each side thereof and between the tracks, if there is more than one, of any person or company having said railroad track or tracks thereon, the northerly end of said cul- vert shall be parallel with and distant twelve (12) feet north- erly from the northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of said culvert shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet southerly from the southerly line of Ninth Street and the center line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel with and distant ' lg, feet westerly from the easterly property line of said San Gabriel Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30", Improvement Cross Sections No. 20 "E 1001,•and plans, details and Cross Sections No. "C 20; and 2I in further accordance with Special Specifications "X" for the 22 i construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the city of 23 Azusa which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. 24 28 (c) That two reinforced concrete culverts with wing i 28 walls for entrance and outlet be constructed, one along the easterly side and one along the westerly side of the roadway 27 of Azusa Avenue across the intersection thereof with Ninth Street 28 29 excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are used 30 by the trach, between the rails and for two feet on each I 31 side thereof, and between the tracks if there is more than one, 32 of any person or company having said railroad track or tracks thereon, the northerly end of each of said culverts shall be (2) 1 `A 3 parallel with and four (4) feet northerly from the northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of each of said culverts shall be parallel with and four (4) feet southerly from the 4 southerly line of Ninth Street and the center line of each of s, said culverts shall be on a line which is parallel with and 6 distant+ 14, feet from the easterly and westerly pro - 7 �' perty lines, respectibely, of Azusa Avenue, in accordance with 8 Improvement Plan No. "B 30" and Improvement Cross-sections No. 9 "E 100" and Plans, Retails and Cross-sections No. "C 21" and 10 in further accordance with Special Specifications "X" for the 11 construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the City of 12 Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. 13 (d) That two reinforced concrete culverts with wing 14 walls for entrance and outlet be constructed, one along the 16 easterly side and one along the westerly side of the roadway I 16 +f of Alameda Avenue, across the intersection thereof with Ninth 17 Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are 18 used by the track, between the rails and for two feet on 19 each side thereof, and between the tracks, if there is more than 20 1 one, of any person or company having said railroad track or 21 i� tracks thereon, the northerly end of each of said culverts 22 shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet northerly from 23 the northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of 24 ' each of said culverts shall be parallel with and distant four 26 (4) feet southerly from the southerly line of Ninth Street and 26 j. the center line of each of said culverts shall be on a line 27 which isarallel p with and distant lg feet from the 28 1 easterly and westerly property lines,respectively,of Alameda 29 Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30" and i 30 Improvement Cross Sections No. "E 100' and Plans, Details and 31 j Cross-sections No. "C 21" and in further accordance with Special 2 f, Specifications "X° for the construction of reinforced concrete Culver s r (3) I J J Q 1 in the City of Azusa which specifications are set forth in i 2 II Resolution No. 406. 3 (e) That two reinforced concrete culverts with wing i 4 „ walls for entrance and outlet be constructed one along the i 5 easterly side and one along the westerly side of the roadw@y 8 of Dalton Avenue, across the intersection thereof with Ninth 7 i Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are i 8 used by the track, between the rails and for two feet on each I 9 side thereof, and between the tracks, if there is more than 10 one,,of any person or company having said railroad track or tracks 11 thereon, the northerly end of each of said culverts shall be 12 parallel with and distant four (4) -feet northerly from the 13 N northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of each 14 of said culverts shall be parallel with and distant four (4) 15 feet southerly from the southerly line of Ninth Street and the 18 I center line of each of said culverts shall be on a line which i 17 is parallel with and distant 17.5 feet from the easterly and 18 u westerly property linesyrespectively�of Dalton Avenue, in 19 accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30" and Improvement 20 Cross-sections No. "E 100" and Plans, Details and Cross-sections i 21 �I No. "C 21" and in further accordance with Special Specifications 22 "X" for the construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the 23 City of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution 24 � No. 406. 25 (f) That two reinforced concrete culverts with vying 26 walls for entrance and outlet be constructed, one along the l 27 ', easterly side and one along the westerly side of the roadway 28 (� of Soldano Avenue across the intersection thereof with Ninth 29 30 Street, excepting therefrom such portions of said street as are ' used by the tracks, between the rails and for two feet on 31 (! 32 each side thereof),and between the tracks, if there is more than one, of any person or compan; having said railroad track or (4) I M 1 {{ tracks thereon, the northerly end of each of said culverts 2 shall be parallel with and four feet northerly from the 3 northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of each 4 ii of said culverts shall be p-rallel with and four feet south - 5 erly from the southerly line of Ninth Street, and the center 11nel 6 of each of said culverts shall be on a line which is parallel i 7 with and distant 17.5 feet from the easterly and westerly pro - 8 perty lines, respectively, of Soldano Avenue, in accordance 9 with Improvement Plan No. "B 30", and Improvement Cross-sections 10 No. "E 100y' and Plans, Details and Cross-sections No. "C 22," 11 and in further accordance with special specifications "X" for 12 the construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the city 13 of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 14 406. 15 (g) That a reinforced concrete culvert with wing walls 16 for entrance and outlet be constructed along the westerly side 17 of the roadway of Pasadena Avenue, across the intersectio= there - 18 , of with Ninth Street, the northerly end of said culvert shall 19 be parallel with and distant four (4) feet northerly from the 20 northerly line of Ninth Street and the southerly end of said 21 Il culvert shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet south 22 erly from the southerly line of Ninth Street, and the center 23 line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel with 24 " and distant 18.0 feet easterly from the westerly property line 25 of Pasadena Avenue, excepting therefrom such portions of said j 26 street as are used by the tracks, between the rails and for 27 28 two feet on each side thereof, and between the tracks, if there is more than one, of any person or company having said. 29 railroad track or tracks thereon, in accordance with Improve - 30 ment Plan No. "B 301t, Improvement Cross-sections No. "E 100' 31 and Plans, Details,and Cross-sections No. "C 23" and in further I 32 accordance with Special Specifications "X" for the onstruction r I of reinforced concrete culverts in the City of Azusa, which (5) 1 specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. 2 (h) That two corrugated iron pipe culverts with con - 3 trete wing walls for entrance and outlet, be constructed,or_e 4 along the easterly side and one along the westerly side of the 5 roadway of San Gabriel Avenue, the northerly end of each of II 6 said culverts shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet li 7 northerly from a line which is the prolongation of the north - g erly right-of-wa lof the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway g .i Company (Coast Line), prolonged and extended in its usual 10 course westerly across said San Gabriel Avenue, and the south - 11 erly end of each of said culverts shall be parallel with and 12 distant four (4) feet southerly from a line which is the pro - 13 longation of the southerly right-of-way line of the Atchison, 14 Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company (Coast Line) prolonged and 15 extended in its usual course westerly* across said San Gabriel 16 Avenue, the center line of each of said culverts to be on a 17 line which is parallel with and distant thirty-three (33) feet 18 from the center line of San Gabriel Avenue,in accordance with 19 Improvement Plan No. "B 30" and Improvement Cross-sections 20 No. "E 101", and Plans, Details and Cross-sections No. "C 28) 21 and in further accordance with Special Specifications "Y" for 22 the construction of corrugated iron pipe culverts in the City 23 of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution No, 24 406. 25 (i) That a reinforced concrete culvert 64.0 feet in 26 length with wing walls for entrance on the northerly end and 27 the southerly end to connect to a reinforced concrete culvert 28 already in place, be constructed along the easterly side of the 29 roadway of Azusa Avenue, the northerly end of said culvert to P 30 be 26.50 fFet northerly from the center line of the Apchison, 31 Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company (Coast Line) right-of-way, 32 prolonged and extended westerly across said Azusa Avenue, the (6) T center line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel with and distant 13.25 feet westerly from the easterly property line of Azusa Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30' 1 and Improvement Cross-sections No.""E 101, and Plans, I Details and Cross-sections No. "C 27", and in further accordancei with Special Specifications "X" for the construction of rein- forced concrete culverts in the City of Azusa„which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. (n) That two corrugated iron and reinforced concrete culverts with intakes and outlets be constructed, one along the ! I easterly side and one along the westerly side of the roadway of Alameda Avenue across the intersection thereof with Centre Street, the northerly end of each of said culverts shall be i parallel with and distant four (4) feet northerly from the northerly line of Centre Street, and the southerly end -of each of said culverts shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet southerly from the southerly line of Centre Street and the center line of each of said culverts shall be on a line which is parallel with and distant 17.83 feet from the east- erly and westerly property li-.es, respectively, of Alameda Avenue,in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30", Plans Details and Cross-sections No. "C 26", and in further accordance with Special Specifications "2" for the construction of corru- gated iron and concrete culverts in the City of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. 406. (p) That a corrugated iron and cnncr6te culvert with intakes and outlets be constructed along the easterly side of the roadway of Soldano Avenue,across the intersection thereof with Centre Street, the northerly end of -said culvert shall be distant four (4) feet northerly from and parallel with the northerly line of Centre Street and the southerly end of said culvert shall be parallel with and distant four (4) feet south - erly from the southerly line of Centre Street and the center line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel with and distant 17.83 feet westerly from the easterly property line of Soldano'Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30" and Plans, Details and Cross-sections No. "C 26; and in further accordance with Special Specifications "Z" for the construction of corrugated iron and concrete culverts in the City of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Rem lution No. 406. (q) That a reinforced concrete culvert be constructed along the westerly side of Soldano Avenue across the intersec- tion thereof with Centre Street, the northerly and southerly 26 ends of said culvert to connect to a reinforced concrete culvert 27 li now in place, the northerly end of said culvert shall be distant 28 6.0 feet northerly from the center line oFAtentre Street, and 29 the southerly end of said culvert shall be 35 said 30 jl feet southerly from the center line of Centre Street, and the 31 center line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel 3$ with and distant 14.25 feet easterly from the westerly property !� II (11) u 1 line of Soldano Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan i 2 No. "B 30" and Plans, Details and Cross-sections No. "C 254 I� 3 and in further accordance with "Special Specifications "X" 1 4 for the construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the i b City of Azusa, which specificatio4s are set forth in Resolution 6 „ No. 406. ry (r) That a reinforced concrete culvert be constructed 8 along the westerly side of Pasadena Avenue across the inter - 9 section thereof with Centre Street, the northerly end of said 10 � !� culvert shall be five (5) feet northerly from and parallel with 11 i` the northerly line of Centre Street,and the southerly end of 12 I said culvert shall be five (5) feet southerly from and parallel 13 with the southerly line of said Centre Street, and the center 14 line of said culvert shall be on a line which is parallel to 15 and distant 18.33 feet easterly from the westerly property 16 17 line of Pasadena Avenue, in accordance with Improvement Plan No. "B 30° and Plans, Details and Cross-sections No. "C 24" 18 18 and in further accordance with Special Specifications "X" 20 for the construction of reinforced concrete culverts in the City 21 of Azusa, which specifications are set forth in Resolution No. ij 22 406, 23 SECTION $. j i 24 That said contemplated work or improvement is,in the 28 opinion of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, of more 26 than local or ordinary public benefit,and said Board of 27 Trustees hereby declares that the district in said City of 28 Azusa to be benefited by said work or improvement, and to be 89 assessed to pay the cost and expense thereof, is hereby described 30 as follows: 31 All that portion of the City of Azusa included within 32 �� the following described exterior boundary lines, to -wit: I (12) 1 Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Sierra 2 Madre Avenue with the easterly boundary line of the City of 3 Azusa, thence southerly, easterly and southerly along said i� � 4 City boundary line to the intersection thereof with the north- erly line of Fifth Street; thence westerly along said northerly 6 line of Fifth Street to the intersection thereof with the center 1 7 r line of Cerritos Avenue, south of Fifth Street, extended north - 6 ,I erly; thence southerly along the said center line of said 9 If Cerritos Avenue,I exg ended northerly, and the center line of 10 P said Cerritos Avenue, toLthecintersection thereof with the 11 southerly line of Lot 3, Block H.
