The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Angeles County Tiutual Aid Plan as submitted for approval to the city of Azusa be and the same is hereby approved and accepted and that notice of acceptance thereof be ordered sent to all concerned officers of the city of Azusa who are ordered to cooperate and act in accordance with the intent and requirement of said County Mutual Aid Plan and to effect the 11utual Aid Agreements required by said Plan. All technical terms, officers, "services, or groups riot otherwise specially defined herein refer to such term's, offie:es,, services, or groups as created and defined in Los Angeles County Ordinance'No; 4435 adopted by the Board of Supervisors of said county on January 2; 194,5 -and as said ordinance may here- after be amended or revised. Reference is'horeby made to said Ordinance No. 4435 and Ordinance No. 4521, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part of this Plan. Subsequent amendments of -said ordinance, to be accomplished by ordinance, shall be appended hereto and thereby made a part hereof. ARTI,GE-E I OFFER OF MUTUAL AID PLAN BY LOS ANGELES COUNTY-DZSAS:TER -MLIEy AUT$OP.ITY Section 1. Los Angeles County-Dis'aster,Relief Authority hereby offers the following mutual aid provisions under thii's County Mutual Aid Plan: (a) Utilization of all available f`ac'ilities of the County Communications Center, which shall receive from eachCounty Mutual Aid Plan Member during a disaster period or ,T1 time of potential disaster, the fol- lowing information concerning such disaster or potential disaster: (1) The steps taken by eac'h.Member to cope therewith. (2) The mutual aid requested by each Member from any other Member. (b) All mutual aid resources of Che` Angeles County Disaster Relief Authority and of the disaster services thereof which shall be avail- able at the times described n,ythie.-section and as specified in Mutual Aid Agreements to'be p.Taced ,in effect between each Member hereto and the respective Coli Vt D` saster Services. _. '. ARTICLE II APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE OF COUNTY MUTUAL AID PLAN BY MUTUAL AID MEMBER Sec. 2. Approval and acceptance of this County Mutual Aid Plan by a County IHutval Aid Plan Member shall include all of the foregoing offers, services, con- ditions and provisions and reciprocally such Member thereby shall agree to render to the Los Angeles County Disaster Relief Authority and the County Disaster Ser- vices thereof, the mutual aid as available and described in Mutual Aid Agreements between Member and each County Disaster Service. Sec. 3. Approval and acceptance of this plan by a Mutual Aid Plan Member shall not affect mutual. aid agreements between such Member and any city or other public or semi-public agency provided such mutual aid agreements are not in con- flict with this County Mutual Aid Plan. ARTICLE III COUNTY MUTUAL AID PLAN INCORPORATED IN MUTUAL AID AGREEMENTS Sec. 4. Each Mutual Aid Agreement submitted by a Disaster Service to the Disaster Technical Committee and to the Board of Supervisors for approval shall have appended to and included in such Mutual Aid Agreement a copy of this County Mutual Aid Plan, ARTICLE IV ADOPTION AND APPROVAL OF COUNTY MUTUAL AID PLAN BY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Sec. 5. The within County Mutual Aid Plan is adopted and approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Sec. 6. The Chief Administrative Officer shall forthwith offer this County Mutual Aid Plan to the legislative body of each incorporated city within Los Angeles County; each city accepting this Plan shall be requested by the Chief Administrative Officer to return one executed copy of this Plan as accepted by such city; each accepting city shall thereafter be designated as a County Mutual Aid Plan Member. The foregoing County Mutual Aid Plan, consisting of six sections, was con- sidered section by section and the Plan was adopted and approved by the Board of Supervisors on August 21, 1945• In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the Board of Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles this 21st day of August, 1945• J.
