RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID, TO CITY OWNED REAL
PROPERTY.
THAT WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is desirous of selling certain
parcels of real property heretofore acquired by the City, and
WHEREAS, the Cityts notice to sell said properties, has hereto-
fore been duly published, and.
WHEREAS, V. A. Owens did heretofore, pursuant to said published
notice to sell, file his written bid with the City Clerk of the City of
Azusa to purchase, on a cash basis, the real property hereinafter described,
which bid was by the City Council at its meeting held on the 3rd day of
March, 1947, publicly opened and declared, and
WHEREAS, said offer to purchase being made upon the following terms
and conditions:

AND WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that it would be to
the best interest of the City of Azusa to accept said.bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the offer of V. A. Owens to purchase from City of
Azusa, upon the terms and conditions as set out in said offer and as
above set forth, that certain real property situated within the City and
described as follows:
PARCEL F. Beginning at a point, which point is N: 680121 W., a distance
of 101.39 feet from the northwesterly corner of Lot 6 of Tract No. 8161
as per map thereof recorded in Map Book 128, pages 19 and 20, Records of
Los Angeles County, California; thence S. 7045130" E.', 115.77 feet; thence
N. 68012, W.,'26.58 feet; thence due north 108.45 feet; thence S. 68012,
E., 9.15 feet to the place of beginning. (Area 0.044 acres)
be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
instructed to execute, attest, seal and deliver to said purchaser a deed
of said parcel of real property.

MARTHA T. OWENS, being first duly sworn according to law,
on said oath deposeth that she is the surviving spouse of V. A. Owens
deceased, who died in Azusa, October ll, 1947,
AFFIANT FURTHER STATES that the bid in the sum of $60.00
for Farcel F being the property described in Resolution #2057 passed by
the City Council of the City of Azusa, March 3, 1947, erroneously sets
forth that said bid was made by and in the name of V. A. Owens, when as
a matter of fact the bid was made by and in the name of Martha T. Owens,.
but by mistake did not so state.
AFFIANT FURTHER STATES that by.inaflber.tonce and mistake
said Resolution #2057 states that a written bid and offer have been filed
and made by V. A: Owens, when the fact is that said bid and offer were
made and filed by Martha T. Owens, Affiant, and Affiant hereby requests
that,"said Resolution #2057 be corrected accordingly.
