The Board o£ Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at 7;30 P.M.
Present at roll call-Trustees;ldoon,Goslin,Bierbo-�ier
and President Case,City Attorney and City Clerk,
Absent -Trustee Barnes.
The Minutes of the last regular meeying held June
7th.and the adjourned session of June 14th.were
read and approved as read.
The resignation of Mrs Nettie L.Dingman as City MRS DINGMAN HEALTH
Health Officer was read. OFFICER RESIGNS;.
On motion duly carried the resignation was accepted
and the City Clerk was instructed to write her a
letter expressing the thanks and appreciation of
the Board for past services.
A communication was received from Chas,W Beck CHAS•;lWBECK WRITES
relative to the condition of Soldano Avenue and 0 ESOI,D.Td00AVEDITION
was referred to the Street Superintendent,
It was regularly moved and carried that.the fol- PMMTISSION GRANTED TO
lowing persons be authorized to remove the pepper REMOVE TREFS�,
trees from in front of their properties as follows;
C;j,W.Beck from in front of Lotsl6-17-18 Block 34
Miss Taylor from in front of Lots19 Block 34.
Juan Canales from in,front of his Lots on the west
side of Azusa Avenue,
Said work to be completed within 30 days from date.

the Ordinance be taken up for the first reading.

The Ordinance was read.
It was moved by Goslin seconded by Bierbower that
the Ordinance be declared read for the first time
and laid over until next meeting. Motion carried; BOND OF CITY CLERK
The bond of the City Clerk for $3000:00 was Pres- APPROVEDi,,
ented and on motion duly carried the sane was app-
roved and placed on file with the President of the
Board of Trust^es.
Trustee Bierbower presented the following Resolution;

MINUTES OF MONDAY,JUNE 21,19201 CONTINUED.
It was moved that demand 27o.2015 of the Southern
California Edison Company for $616.14 be approved
under protest as recommended by the Auditing and
Finance Committee and on the groung stated in the
written protest attached thereto.
Carried by the following vote. Ayes;Moon,Goslin,
Bierbower,Case. Noes -None. Absent;Barnes.
On motion duly carried the matter of repairing
the culvert at Sixth street and Cerritos Ave.was
referred to the committee of the whole,
A communication from the Pacific Electric Ry.Co.
to the City Attorney relative to rates was read
and on motion duly carried was referred to the
City Attorney for .recommendation.
It was moved that the following bills be allowed
and orders drawn on the Treasurer for the same.
