HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2047RESOLUTION NO. 2047 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION AND VARIANCE UNDER SECTION 16 OF ORDINANCE NO. 342. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: WHEREAS B. 3I. Luckenbill is the owner of One Lot at the southwest corner of Azusa Avenue and First Street, 1001 x 1551, and V"dHEREAS a petition for exception and variance has been duly filed, praying for an exception and variance as to afore- said property charg ng the use thereof to establish an apart- ment over the now existing garage. WHEREAS said exception and variance is hereby found and determined necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of the substantial rights of the petitioners and is not materially detrimental to the public welfare or injuries to the property or improvements in the zone or district in which said property lies, or injurious to the property or improvements in other zones or districts: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an exception and variance be and the same is hereby ordered and made under Section 16 of Ordinance No. 342 of said City, to establish an apartment over the now existing garage located on lot at the southwest corner of Azusa Avenue and First Street. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 1Jayor shall sign this resolution and the City Clerk attest same and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
