The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in
regular sd#otwried session at 6:30 P.Mi
Present at roll call;Trustees;Earnes,Goslin,Bierbo�irer
and President Case,City Attorney !2nd.City Clerk;
Absent;Trustee Moon.
The report of the City Engineer C.L.Nichols on the
condition of the drainage gutter on Sierra Madre
AAenue was read:

REPORT OF CITY ENGI-
NEER'.
It was moved that it is the sense of the Board that
we enter into an aggangement with the Glendora rIut=
ual Irrigation Company by which said Company be grant-
ed permission to construct a. retaining wall along the
south property line of Wallace Gordon's property
oining the north line of Sierra. Madre Avenue a distance
of about four hundred and nine(409)feet,and also to j
join on to said retaining wall,and.•to construct at its
own expense a concrete and stone waterway along the
entire length of said retaining wall,such rat -.fining
wall and waterway to be constructed as per plad oV. MOTION RELATIVE TO
same submitted to the Board by the City Engineer AN ARRANGEMENT WITH

Grades for the waterway to be furnished by the
City of Azusa,and in consideration o;f the perform-
ance of the above by the said Compar* the City of
Azusa will agree to have plans and specifications
prepared by the City Engineer calling for the const-
ruction of a like waterway extending easterly along
said northerly line of Sierra Madre Avenue,,a distance
of approximately seven hundred,eighty (780. -feet,
with the understanding that said Company will either
bid or procure a bidder who will bid on said work
and agree to do the same at a price not exceeding
'One Thousand and ninety-two(s1092) Dollard payment
for which the City of Azusa will 'Agree to make upon
performance of said work in accordance with plang,
and specifications not later than January 1,1921'.
It is also understood that said Water Company
will also construct at its own expense a similiar
retaining wall to that first mentioned at the same
time that said waterway is constructed extending
easterly from said Wallace Gordons property the entire
distance of said approximately seven hundred and
eighty (780)feet,'

It was moved by Goslin seconded by Bierbower that
the Ordinance be taken up for the fiC'at reading.
Motion carried';
The Ordinance was read.
