The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve and ordain as
follows
SEOTION 1. 6"ilW AS, the City of Azusa is the owner of a parcel
Of unimproved land of approx;patoly one and one-half Gores located in said
City of Asusal amd
WMAS, request has been made to the City Council
to provide a suitable site therein for use as an Armory by the California
Aatiosal Guards and
1RISHSAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
best interest of the City of Azusa and for the public benefit that such a
site be so ppovided by the City of Azuea.
NOW, V-MREF'OR8 aI IT RESOLVED by the City Council
Of the City of Azusa that the said City of Azusa shall grant to the State
of California for the use and occupancy of the California Aational Guard as
an Armory site, that certain parcel of land owned by said City, in the City
Of Azusa, County of Los Asgelea, State of Oalifornia and more particularly
described as follows, to -wits o
That certain piece or parcel of land situated in
the City of Azusa and being a portion of Lot 70 of
Flap of Subdivision Ne. 2, Azusa Laad and Aster
Company as per map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous
Records book 450 Pago 94, Records of Los kzgelos
County, California described as follower
The westerly 370 feet of the easterly 970 feet of
the northerly 180 feast of the southerly COO foot
of said Lot 70.
BE IT FURTMW RESOLVED that the Mayor and ^Ity Clerk
Of said City of Azusa be and they are hereby authorised and directed to execute
on behalf of said City of Azusa a Grant Deed to the aforemaationed real property
In favor of the State of California, subtest to3
1. Conditions, restrictions, reservations, eascments
and rights of way of record.
E. An easement to Southern California Edison Company
for electricity and power.
3. An easement to the Associated Telephone Company, Ltd.

4. The further condition that the Armory Building
proposed to be ereoted thereon shal.1 be completed within five years of the
date of the execution of this Deed, otherwise the property thereby conveyed
shall revert to the City of Azusa.
SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall
sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage
and adoption thereof.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular adjourned meeting
of the said Council held in the regular Council Chambers of said City Council in
said City on the 24th day of July, 1948, and that the seas was passed by the
