A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
3 THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING PLANS AND
4 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED BUILD-
ING TO BE ERECTED ON LOT 6, BLOCK. 60,
5 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, PROVIDED A TEN
._ FOOT SET -BACK BE PROVIDED, 50%
6 OF THE AREA SET ASIDE FOR PARKING AND
THE WALLS OF THE BUILDING TO BE OF
7 FIRE RESISTANT MATER:LAL.

10 The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:

WHEREAS, Manuel Ciriza is the owner of the following
12 property, to -wit -
13 Lot 6 in Block 60 Original Plat of the City
14 of Azusa, which property is also known as
number 325 and 327 North Azusa Avenue in
15 said City;
and

17 WHEREAS, petition for exception and variance has been duly
filed praying for an exception and variance as to the foregoing
18 property changing the uses thereof to uses prescribed in Zone C-2
for the purpose of erecting a building to be used as a store for
19 the sale of food stuffs, delicatessen, food manufacture and similar
products, the granting of which petition has been recommended to the
20 City Council by the said Planning Commission of said City; and.
21 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa has found
and hereby does find, determine and declare that no further notice
22 of the filing of said petition or of the hearing thereof is
necessary or required, such further notice being hereby dispensed
23 with; and
24 WHEREAS, said exception is hereby found to be necessary for
the preservation and enjoyment of the substantial rights of the
25 petitioner and the same are not detrimental to the public welfare
or injurious to the property or improvements in the zone or district
26 in which said property lies.
27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an exception and varianc
be and the same is hereby ordered and made under Section 16 of
28 Ordinance No. 342 of said City, permitting and erecting the location,
erection, use and maintenance on and in said Lot 6 in Block 60
29 Original Plat of the City of Azusa by Manuel Ciriza of a store
building to be used for the sale of food stuffs, delicatessen, food
30 manufacture and similar products.
3111 This variance, however, is upon the condition that the
building to be erected on said place shall be at least ten feet from
32i the sidewalk line on Azusa Avenue and that not less than 50% of the

1 said property is to be reserved for off-street parking, said off-
street parking to be reached through the alley in the rear of the
2 premises. That if any of the conditions herein set forth are not
complied with, this variance is to be cancelled at the discretion
3 of the City Council.
4 1 A further condition for granting this variance is that the
walls of the building to be erected thereon shall be of fire
5 resistant material.
6 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
Resolution and the City Clerk attest same and certify to the
7 passage and adoption thereof.
