The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at 7 o'clock P.M,; The Board was called to order by the City Clerk. Present at roll call -Trustees Moon,Goslin,Bierbower, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent -President Case and Trustee Barnes. It was regularly moved and carried that Trustee Bierbower act as of the Board. The minutes of the last regular meeting held November 1,1920 were read and on motion regularly made and carried the same were approved as read. It was moved and carried that an Ordinance entit- led,"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUING OF BONDS OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,CALIFORNIA,IN THE SUM OF EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE ACQUISITION,CONST- RUCTION AND CO2.U'LETION OF STREET WORK UPON 40. PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF AZUSA"be taken up for its first reading. Said Ordinance was then read by the Clerk and it was moved that the Ordinance be declared read for the first time and laid over until the next meet- ing. Carried. It was moved that the Contract submitted by the City Attorney between the City and E.F..Morgan to furnish him domestic water supply be approved and that the President of the Board and the City Clerk be authorized to execute•the same the City Clerk to affix the City Seal on behalf of the City of Azusa. Carried by the following vote-Ayes;Moon,Goslin Bierbower. Noes;None. Absent;Barnes and Case. 21.3 TRUSTEE BIERBO"JER CHAIRMAN. ORDINANCE CALLING FOR BOND ISSUE FOR STREET WORK READ FIRST TIME. AND LAID OVER,,; WATER CONTRACT BETWEEN CITY AND E.F,MORGAN APPROVED;,, WATER SUP'T.AUTHORIZED 'It was moved that the Water Superintendent be auth- TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES.. orized to procure the necessary tile and install the same for draining the upper City Reservoir at an expense of not to exceed $PO.00. Carried by the following vote;Ayes;Moon,Goslin,Bierbower. Noes;None. Absent,Case,Barnes. It was regularly moved and carried that a letter of LETTER OF SYMPATHY TO sympathy be sent to the family of Thomas Hanify. HANIFY FAMILY It visa moved that Joe Daugherty be employed as City JOE DAUGHERTY EMPLOYED teamster at a salary of $105.00 per month. AS TEAMSTER., Carried by the following vote.Ayes;Moon,Goslin,Bier- bower.Noes;None: Absent;Barnes,Case. IT was moved that the Water & Light Sup't.be authorized WATER & LIGHT SUPT to purchase the followinsupplies2 10 4,']N Transformers, AUTHORIZED TO PUR- 1 5 Transformer,3 3 .�.Transformers,l coil No,8 wire, CHASE SUPPLIES@v, 1 2 in water meter and 1 2 in fish trap. and that he be authorized to have the Edison Co.test the Contract Companys light and power meter. Nees -None, Absent,Case,Barnes: It was moved and carried that Floyd Monia be grantdd per- PERMIT TO HOLD mission to hold a turkey shoot inside the City limits the TURFY SHOOT GRANT same to be under the supervision and subject to the appro- val of the City Marshal as to the time and place in which the same is to be held. It was moved that demand no.2075 of the southern calif.Edison Companyfor $3191.21 be approved under protest as recommended by the auditing co=.ittee and on the ground stated in the-.:EDISOIJ BILL PRO - written protest attached thereto. Carried by the following vote;Ayes';Mo on, Goslin,Bierbower. TESTED,j Noes pone. Absent;Case,Barnes. On motion the Board adjourned to Monday November 22,1920 at 7 o'clock P.M.
